Who we are
Community Care Alliance is an illustrative bridge organisation that stitches together small community groups so child wellbeing work is coordinated rather than scattered. Across Baringo, it helps village and neighbourhood groups share calendars, referrals and safeguarding habits.
Alliance meetings reduce duplication; joint outreach days link child and family wellbeing to accessible community health efforts; and structured field notes feed community experience into NORCCAPA advocacy and learning products. When a concern needs more than a local group can hold, warm links into association member services keep escalation practical.
NORCCAPA membership since 2018 gives the Alliance a regional table for learning, referrals and joint action with larger member organisations. This profile is a composite example — replace with confirmed member content before publishing as fact.

From the field
Illustrative snapshots of how the organisation shows up for children and families.

Neighbouring groups discovered they were planning similar outreach in the same week; the Alliance table merged the calendars and shared referral notes. Families met one coordinated day instead of two overlapping visits. Illustrative of coordination practice, not a confirmed event log.

A joint health outreach day surfaced a child wellbeing concern; facilitators used the Alliance escalation route into a NORCCAPA protection member. Follow-up confirmed the family was received. Composite tone for health–protection linkage.

Consent-aware community notes were peer-reviewed and contributed to a NORCCAPA brief on rural access barriers. Grassroots experience travelled without losing dignity. Illustrative of advocacy contribution, not a published document claim.
