Partnership questions
What government, donors and allies ask first.
Partnership is distinct from organisational membership. Members such as Pokot Children First do the frontline work; partners resource, enable and co-govern collaboration with the association.
Answers draw on illustrative member organisations in the directory. Confirm live processes with NORCCAPA before treating them as official policy.
Is partnership the same as membership?
No — membership is for child-focused organisations in the network.
See answers Ask yourself · 02Can we fund or co-design without joining?
Yes — that is a common partner pathway.
See answers Ask yourself · 03How do partners relate to members?
Through the association table — not by bypassing member organisations.

Straight answers for curious organisations
Still unsure after reading? Reach the association team — membership and partnership are conversations, not checkouts.
Begin a partnershipWho are partners vs members?
Members are organisations delivering child care and protection — e.g. Highland Family Support Network or Safeguard Youth Collective. Partners are government, NGOs, donors, research bodies and private-sector allies who strengthen the network’s capacity, coordination and reach.
What can a partner support?
Capacity strengthening, coordination platforms, knowledge products, advocacy moments and responsible programme partnerships that reinforce members rather than creating parallel delivery. Think enabling Community Care Alliance’s grassroots table or school safeguarding work with North Rift Education for All — through NORCCAPA, not around it.
How do we begin a partnership conversation?
Use the enquire path on this page or contact NORCCAPA with your interest area, geography and constraints. The association will map fit against strategic areas and member priorities.
Will partners appear publicly?
Trusted companions may appear in the partnership circle once confirmed. Seed logos and names on this template are illustrative placeholders until NORCCAPA confirms the live circle.
