Membership application

Tell us about your organisation and why you want to join the network. The association team will review and follow up — this is the start of a conversation.

What we ask for

  • Organisation identity and registration status
  • Primary contact details
  • County and areas of work
  • Why you want to join NORCCAPA

Supporting documents and membership fees (if any) will be requested once NORCCAPA confirms the process. Patterned on association membership funnels such as KAACR and Child Rights Connect.

Areas of work
Target groups

Eligibility, fees and required documents will be confirmed with NORCCAPA. Submitting this form starts a conversation — it is not an automatic approval.

Before you apply

Questions about the membership application.

Practical answers for teams preparing an application — informed by how organisations like Highland Family Support Network or Community Care Alliance would brief their boards.

Answers draw on illustrative member organisations in the directory. Confirm live processes with NORCCAPA before treating them as official policy.

What information is required on the form?

Organisation identity and registration status, primary contact, county, areas of work / target groups, and why you want to join NORCCAPA. Think of how North Rift Education for All would describe school partnerships, or how Pokot Children First would describe community dialogue — clear and concrete.

Will we need certificates and policies immediately?

Supporting documents and safeguarding policies are typically requested once the association confirms the process — not always on the first form. Have registration details ready; full packs can follow.

Can a youth-focused or associate-style organisation apply?

Yes if they work for children’s care and protection. Safeguard Youth Collective is an illustrative associate pathway for adolescent-centred organisations. Category placement is decided by NORCCAPA after review.

What happens after we submit?

The association team reviews and follows up. You may be asked clarifying questions, invited to a conversation, or guided on next steps. Membership is a relationship — similar to how Community Care Alliance would expect coordination before joint calendars begin.
